What is The Gathering of the Kindred Spirits
Kindred Spirits of all ages from all walks of life gathering together over 3 days and 2 nights to share experiences and connect with each other.
With over 160 workshops, performances, art and craft workshops, dances, music, food stalls, markets, acoustic music, nature crafts, Teen Workshops and a dedicated children’s festival
The gathering of the kindred spirits provides a safe and secure place for all ages.
It’s a magical experience, and one not to be missed.
Who organised The Gathering of the Kindred Spirits:
2 women brought together through their own life adversities. They created The Gathering of the Goddesses and saw the need for a gender diverse festival.

Where is the Victoria Festival Held?
1 hr from Melbourne’s CBD or 30 Minutes from Tullamarine Airport.
7km from Riddells Creek Train Station.
6 Kent Road Riddells Creek. Within the Macedon Ranges, Riddles Creek is located in the Macedon Ranges Victoria.

Car Pass - Do I need one?
Every car entering the festival site requires a car pass.
We encourage you to carpool.
Car Pass is to be purchased before entry to site. They are limited and there is no parking outside the festival. You will need a festival pass additional to the car pass.
Two types of car passes are available
Small to Medium Car Pass
Large Vehicle Pass for Class B vehicles
Parking next to your accomodation will mean you are unable to leave the site unless emergency during festival times.
Parking in day parking enables you to leave the site during festival times.
Restrictions are in place regarding moving to and from site for safety purposes. No driving around site is allowed before sunrise or after sunset.
No caravans to be brought onto site.
The Gathering of the Kindred Spirits are not liable to any damages to vehicles on site. You will be parking under and around forest area.
What is included in my ticket?
Your festival pass is included in your ticket.
You have access to all workshops, childrens village, performances, teen activities, nature crafts, arts.
You will need to pay for any purchases you make at the markets or food vendors.
Healing & Readings can be pre purchased or paid at the festival for a reduced cost starting from $40.
What is a day pass
Day Pass ticket is valid just for one day of the Gathering. It allows you entry from Sunrise on the day of your ticket until 10pm.
If you’d like to participate in any activities before 8am or after 9pm activities, you will need a weekend ticket.
The Gates open at sunrise and close at 10.30pm. Our Gates will be staffed.
Access through the gates will not be available outside these hours unless an emergency.
Accessibility Accomodation / Parking / Toilets / Showers
This gathering has a designated accessible camping area situated close to the heart of the festival available for season campers with disabilities, and a dedicated accessible overnight camping area.
Camping sites have access to power (for life support equipment only) and all have access to accessible shower and toilet facilities. These camping sites are limited and must be pre-booked using the following forms.
We have accesibility toilets and showers near camp site.
We ask that you email us prior to attending– this way we can best cater for your needs.
Please keep in mind this is a forest, dirt tracks and flat areas where possible.
Unfortunately at this time we are unable to provide hoists.
What Happens When I Arrive?
1) On arrival you will go to the marked gate area.
2) Staff will be at the gate to meet and greet you.
3) Staff will ask for your ticket and scan it. You can supply paper or on smartphone version.
4) We will match your ID with your Ticket name.
5) Staff will provide you with a wristband, program and festival map.
6) You will then be directed to your allocated camping/ glamping or Dorm area and parking area if you have a car pass. Exclusive package will need to go to our concierge area.
7) If you are staying for one day - you will be shown to the day parking area if you have a car pass.
Do You Offer Payment Plans?
Yes, we have payment plans! Click here for tickets
Refunds are not made if:
1) You change your mind
2) You are unable to attend the event due to a change in personal circumstances
3) Due to poor weather before, during or after the event.
4) Tickets are not interchangeable between events, the ticketed event selected is final.
Names on purchased tickets can be changed online.

Do I Pay For Parking
Yes. You will need to purchase a Vehicle Pass. Cars will not be able to be driven on the site at night due to safety reasons.
Yes you can book out one dorm room block. Please

Every Camper is allocated a site and car space if purchased.
Bring our own tent or select a glamping tent. Sleep in your van, campervan, small class B motorhome or pop up 4 wheel drive. No caravans.
You will have access to flushing toilets, hot showers and power charging station
Can I Sleep In My Car
Yes,We welcome Vans, Class B campervans, Poptop 4wheel drives, camper Trailers, Roof Top Tents, Annex.
No caravans allowed on site.
I Need A Travel Buddy
Join our Facebook page, car pool or chat with our festival goers. In the heart of our Gathering we have a meeting place as well as a hub setup.
How Do I Book For Workshops
You dont need to book. You go to the Marquee where the workshop is being held at the time it is being held.
We will display our program closer to the gathering date to enable you to start selecting what you want to do.
Online program booking will be made available exclusive to ticket holders.
Workshops are included in your ticket price.
Is there any Internet or Phone Reception?
Yes we do. The entire festival has 3g coverage in 2020. 2021 will see 5g upgrades to the area.
We will also have a power up station area to charge up your mobile phones. You can also bring your power bank or car charger.
Leave No Trace Festival - What does this mean?
We have a focus on ‘minimal waste’ or ‘Leave no trace’. Please take all your rubbish with you as you leave the event or take your waste to the designated waste collection points.
Please minimise the packaging you bring. Remove from their packaging. Please do everything possible to take all your rubbish with you when you leave.
Please do not leave your rubbish in the gallon drums around the sites, these are intended for water for fire safety.
Do I Need Cash?
Every Stallholder/ food vendor will have eftpos. We are dedicated to minimal cash on site.
Parents/ Guardians need to be responsible for their children at all times. We do not provide child minding services.
Only assistance animals are allowed. No Pets. Please
contact us for this.
No fires, gas stoves, fire crackers, pyrotechnic, sparklers or flares
No drugs or alcohol
There will be no cooking facilities on site.
If you require a fridge, you will need to bring an esky and you can order ice daily.
Wearing appropriate footwear is recommended.
The Gates open at Sunrise and close at Sunset. All Gates will be staffed during this time.

Full Nudity is not recommended, feel free to be creative and use some form of coverage
Can I take Photos or record?
We encourage you to. Please be respectful and seek permission from others.
Please remember that there are some attendees who do not wish to have their photos / recording taken.
Some photos and recordings will be taken throughout the festival for creative and marketing purposes by event management. This will be announced beforehand to allow those not wishing to participate to leave the area.
All Photos, Video and recordings are rights to The Gathering of the Goddesses.
We have a first aid centre in the heart of the Gathering. This is manned by qualified first aid staff hired to attend our event.
We do encourage you to bring a few basics examples: panadol, bandaids.
ESSENTIAL MEDICATIONS STORAGE:
Limited cold storage of medications will be available if required, however may attract a small fee. Should you require this service, please contact us on by set date here so that adequate storage space can be arranged.
Workshops - Ages Limits
Childrens Festival Workshops do not require bookings and are generally suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by a guardian/parent. If your child/ren are alone you will be contacted by our staff to come and get them.
General Workshops are generally suitable for age 12yrs+. Some may be suitable for young adults and it will be dependent on the person running the workshop as to whether they accept under 12yrs. Please email to confirm before booking.
Assistance Animals / Animals
The property is home to an abundance of native flora and fauna. For this reason we only allow assistance animals. Please see contact us if you require to bring an assistance animal.
Do You Have Student / Pensioner/ Conce
No. We aim to keep our festival tickets prices as low as possible for everyone and provide payment plans.
We also have an extensive volunteering program where people can volunteer at the festival in exchange for a Volunteer ticket. You can apply for a volunteer ticket under our
Can I purchase Food / Drinks?
Yes you can. There will be a variety of food stalls available for you to choose from. We encourage Eco- Friendly food stalls and catering to all food requirements.
We have water fountains around the gathering site to fill up your water bottle as well.
Ice will be available for purchase daily at the general store.
Everyone must take their waste to the designated waste collection points or home. We are a no waste festival.

Covid - 19
If the event is rescheduled, your ticket will automatically transfer to the new dates.
You will not be eligible for a refund due to rescheduling to back up date. Please consider the dates carefully before purchase. If you can no longer attend you are welcome to onsell you ticket at tixel.com.
A full credit for 2 years to any of the events run by The Gathering of the Kindred Spirits will apply for:
Pre-event: If a patron becomes symptomatic in the weeks leading up to the event, a credit will be offered if they present to a medical professional for a COVID test and supply The Gathering of the Kindred Spirits with documentation of test results.
At Gate: If a patron arrives at the gate to check-in and has been identified as symptomatic at that time, no refund or credit will be offered as you have breached the Terms & Conditions.
During event: If a patron becomes symptomatic during first or second day of the event, they will present to a medical professional immediately on-site, leave the event and take a COVID test within 24-hours and supply a copy of the test result documentation to The Gathering of the Kindred Spirits for a partial credit of their ticket, to be determined by the management team after the event has concluded. Refunds are not made if you change your mind or if you are unable to attend The Event, unless for a valid medical reason (COVID-19) with accompanying proof of documents from a medical professional.
The Gathering of the Kindred Spirits may reserve the right to refuse remedy if:
There are no current Government order restricting entry into VIC and/or without having to mandatory quarantine, at the time of the festival
It cannot be proven by Government order that you were restricted to travel into VIC or at the time of the festival.
If your reason for not attending the Event is due to COVID-19 illness or symptoms and/or in the event of a mandated requirement to self-isolate and/or mandated border closures and can be supported with the evidence of COVID-19 positive test result and/or sufficient evidence proving your inability to travel due to Government order at the time of the festival, you may submit a request for a refund. Refund requests may only be submitted within 4 days from the date displayed on your entry ticket or within 4 days from the date of rescheduling announcement.
Under the ACCC Consumer Rights & Guarantees & LPA (Live Performance Australia) Code of Practice, The Gathering of the Kindred Spirits are not required to offer a refund, transfer, or credit if:
A ticket holder is well and does not wish to attend an Event due to fears of exposure to Coronavirus (COVID-19); or
A ticket holder is unwell and does not attend an Event (other than due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) illness or symptoms which can be proven by display of a positive or negative COVID-19 test result); or
A ticket holder is from a group at a higher risk of Coronavirus (COVID-19); or
A ticket holder is denied entry into the Event for reasons which were disclosed to the ticket holder in the ticket terms and conditions at the time of sale. For example, these reasons may include (but not be limited to) non-compliance with mandatory mask wearing or unwillingness to provide personal contact information when requested; or
The ticket holder attends the performance and subsequently leaves part way through due to feeling unwell.
Ticket refunds are only permitted in line with the Live Performance Australia Code of Practice for ticketing of Live Entertainment in Australia or as otherwise stated specified by the seller.
